Get the best jumbo lump crab meat you can find. The fresher the better


1 lb jumbo lump crab meat
3 shakes garlic salt
1 cup sour cream
1/2 of the juice from fresh lemon
2 8 oz blocks of cream cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
4 TBL Mayo
Old Bay to taste

Original recipe makes 20 Servings



Make sure you double pick the crab meat to get all the shells out.

Combine all except shredded cheddar cheese and old bay

Spread in a casserole dish and top with Cheddar, bake 25-30 minutes at 325.

Remove from oven and sprinkle with Old Bay

Serve with sliced pita bread.

Kinda crazy to hear that someone doesn't know what Old Bay Seasoning is but I am from Maryland. Old bay is a spice that you can typically find in the seafood section of your grocer. You may also find it as crab boil. Hope that helps.

Not sure what Old Bay is but would sure love to try this recipe

This recipe was really good. I would suggest serving it when there is a group of 6 adults or more. My wife and two children meant there was a lot left over.
