Cream together room temperature BUTTER and BROWN SUGAR in a large bowl. Blend in EGG, MOLASSES, VANILLA and ORANGE EXTRACT. In separate bowl combine FLOUR, BAKING SODA, GINGER and SALT. Gradually add dry mix to sugar/butter mixture.
Press Plastic Wrap on dough and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Heat oven to 350 degrees
Roll into 1 inch balls and place on greased cookie sheets and press flat with sugared glass.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, allowing to set 3-5 minutes before removing from pan.
