Suggest a better descriptionMMMMM---------------------------CRISP-------------------------------- 1 1/2 c Rolled oats 1/3 c Chopped walnuts; optional 1/3 c Maple syrup 1 ts Vanilla 1/4 ts Salt Slice the apples and spread them in a 9-inch square nonstick baking pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice, Sucanat, cinnamon, and cranberries. Preheat oven to 350F. Combine the rolled oats, walnuts, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt. Stir to mix, then spread evenly over the apples. Bake until the apples are tender when pierced with a knife, about 35 minutes. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.
