Cranberry-Almond Chicken Salad

Ready in 45 minutes

This is a salad that serves as a main dish.


1/2 cup slivered almonds
3 cups shredded, cooked chicken
3/4 cup Craisins
2 stalks Celery chopped
1/4 small onion
1/2 apple; grated
Miracle Whip
Fresh lemon juice

Original recipe makes 4 Servings



Bake almonds in a 350(F) oven until browned

Stir together chicken, Craisins, celery, onion, grated apple.

Mix Miracle Whip, lemon juice and spices of your choice; stir into chicken mix. Add almonds.

Best if chilled over night.

Serve on a bed of lettuce.
