A moist bread with warm cranberries, sugar, and almond
Beat together cranberries, cream cheese, brown sugar, vanilla, and almond extracts. Cover the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch dish with bread slices. Spread cream cheese mixture over bread. Top with another layer of bread slices.
Beat eggs and milk and then pour it over the bread, don't leave any dry pieces. Then Drizzle maple syrup over all. Cover and refrigerate over night.
Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 1 hour-1 hour, 15 minutes.
Cranberry Topping: In a saucepan, heat cranberries, water and sugar to a low boil. Uncover and boil, stirring frequently , for 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and almond flavoring. Topping will thicken as it cools.
Do not underbake, or you will have soggy french toast!
