This is a great make-ahead party dip that my family has been enjoying for many years.
Combine cream cheese, cocktail sauce, lemon juice, and spices until well blended.
Stir in shrimp by hand.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Even better if refrigerated overnight because the spices have more time to absorb.
Serve with crackers or fresh veggies.
As you are making, taste a little bit. You may want to add more cocktail sauce, spices, or lemon juice. I rarely measure the ingredients and just add by how it tastes.
If you want to add a kick, a little bit of hot sauce is a great addition.
