Suggest a better descriptionCombine broccoli, onions and broth in a saucepan. Heat to boiling and simmer for 5 minutes. Pour into a blender and blend until smooth. Melt butter and blend in flour. Stir in broccoli mixture, Half and Half, salt, basil and pepper. Heat slowly, just to boiling. Simmer 1 minute, stirring. Top each serving with sliced almonds. Yield: 4 servings. JULIE FULGHAM (MRS.
