Use for Mac n Cheese, GF white gravy, GF cream of Mushroom, or other GF cream soups.
Mix salt, pepper, & flour together.
Melt butter in pan, removed from heat, stir in flour mix until completely combined.
Slowly incorporate milk, cook on med/low, stirring frequently, until thickened & smooth.
For cheese: Add Cheese & stir until blended,
For Gravy: season with addl salt n pepper to taste
For Biscuits n Gravy: Add cooked breakfast sausage.
For Cream of Mushroom: Use juice from canned mushrooms as part of total liquid (subtract from milk), thicken, then add in mushroom pieces.
For Cream of Chicken: Add GF chicken boullion (Better than Boullion is good) to milk.
Makes ~ 2 Cups.
