Very tasty!
Cut the kernels off the corn cobs and scrape the cobs to get the juices. Discard the cobs. Cook the corn with its juices, butter, salt, pepper, and sugar in a heavy saucepan over low hear for 15 minutes, frequently stirring with a wooden ladle to make sure the corn does not stick. Add the flour to the milk and stir to thicken. Add to the corn. Let simmer for a few minutes and remove from heat. If it's not thick enough, simmer longer. If it's too thick, add additional milk or water.
