Suggest a better descriptionStart a large pot of water with some salt to cook the noodles. Allow the water to come to boil. While you’re waiting on the water to come up to a boil start the chicken mixture.
First, I added the the butter and olive oil {from the cream of chicken soup recipe along with the garlic. Saute the garlic and then add the flour {from the homemade cream of chicken soup recipe}. Let the flour cook in the butter/oil until it bubbles but don’t let it burn! Finally, add the remaining ingredients from the homemade cream of chicken soup recipe except the milk.
Drop the noodles in the boiling water and cook as directed on the package.
When the soup begins to thicken, add the milk {from the cream of chicken soup recipe} along with the frozen veggies and the cooked chicken. Allow the mixture to cook on low until everything is done/warm.
Once everything is done, serve the chicken and veggies mixture over the noodles.
