I use a whole frozen chicken and seasonings to make my own broth.
Use a whole frozen chicken or 2 or 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts ( if breasts are thick then I would use 2)with chopped onion, garlic, and Connie's
Seasoning salt, paprika. Cook in crockpot till done. Then remove bones from chicken, and chop well, return back to broth.
May need to add more water and broth. (I thicken broth with a little bit of cornstarch mixture.)
( Also you may need to add a chicken bouillon currently enrolled to the broth.)
NOTE: if you are making your own broth like I do you won't need to use the canned chicken broth. If you are using canned chicken then you will need to use canned broth or a 32 oz. Box of chicken broth.
I also added 1 can of black beans, 1 can of pinto beans both rinsed. You can add in chopped jalapenos (opt.)
I also add 1 pkt of powdered ranch dressing, and 1 pkt of chili seasoning.
