Suggest a better description1. In a medium sized bowl mix sauce - cream of mushroom soup and milk
2. Grease oven-safe casserole dish. Peel and cut potatoes into thin slices. Layer as follows:
Potatoes
Salt
Pepper
Flour (1 tablespoon at a time)
Butter (1 tablespoon)
3. When layered to the top, (ending with butter), cover with sauce. Add more milk if necessary.
4. Microwave uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring at the 15 and 30 minute marks.
5. Bake uncovered in oven at 350 for 30 minutes more. Stir and serve!
I use a food processor to slice the potatoes as it's quicker. My baking dish is pretty deep so I sometimes microwave for 45 minutes instead of 30. I do the same if the potatoes are sliced a little thicker.
