Creamy Tomato Vodka Sauce

4 c Penne rigate
1 1/2 c Whipping cream
1/2 ts Pepper
1 sm Onion; finely chopped
1/4 c Grated Parmesan cheese
1 5.5-oz cn tomato paste
2 strips Bacon; finely chopped
3 Garlic; minced
1/4 c Vodka
1/2 ts Salt
1 tb olive oil

Original recipe makes 1



Heat oil in saucepan over medium heat. Stir in garlic, onion & bacon; cook 5-7 minutes or until lightly browned. Stir in cream, vodka, salt, pepper and tomato paste. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Meanwhile, in a large pot of boiling, salted water, cook paste 11 minutes, or until tender but firm. Stir 2 tablespoons into tomato sauce.
