Try this Crock-Pot Bread Pudding recipe, or contribute your own.
Place cubes into well-greased crock-pot. In a bowl mix sugar and melted butter, eggs (well beaten) and milk. Beat until smooth. Stir in raisins and nutmeg. Pour over cube mixture. Mix lightly and cook on high 1 hour. Then turn to low 3 or 4 hours. Sauce: Cook until thick. This should be a medium heavy pot. Pour over pudding just before serving. ccgoforth 2y agoI added brown sugar & soaked my raisens in brandy for 30 min before cooking. Paid with arecipe I found for Mimis cafe Whisey sauce - yum! So easy & even better thenext day!

RobieCooks46 5y agoI liked the crock pot idea but I changed a few things. I put the pudding mixture in a dish that fits inside the pot then put water in the bottom of the crock. This is more like the traditional oven bread pudding. I added 2tsp of cinnamon to the pudding mixture a tbsp of whiskey to the sauce.
Troy101667 5y agoIt was pretty good. You need to be more specific with the ingredients on the sauce. I think i would try some cinnamon with it next time.
