Try this Crock Pot Ham-Bean Soup recipe, or contribute your own.
Wash beans. Put everything in crock pot along with ham bone (that has small amount of ham still on). Start cooking at high and after it starts cooking, turn to simmer. Scotchmitch 2y agoIt was very good. Made as written and felt it could use a little more. Proceeded to saute some chopped baby carrots and celery. Then a dash of mustard powder, old bay seasoning and Worcestershire sauce. Close to 5 star comfort food after that. Also had soaked the beans in advance . Great on a frigid evening.
