2 1/2 cup cooked rice
1 1/2 cup scalded milk
2/3 cup white or brown sugar
3 Eggs
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup raisins
3 tbsp soft butter

Original recipe makes 1



Combine all ingredients. Pour into lightly greased crock pot. Cook on high 1

to 2 hours. Stir during first 30 minutes. Recipe can be doubled

I use this all the time. Cook on low not on high or it will over cook. I stir every 20 min or so.

Used brown sugar and a mix of prunes and saultanas. Excellent! More-ish!

I added saultanas instead of raisins and it worked well. it was very nice, but will not use white sugar next time as a fuller flavour would have made it better. :) Lasted for a few days in the fridge.

Mine came out a bit scrambled egg looking and dry. Flavors were ok. Not sure what went wrong ;(
