garlic mashed potatoes in the crock pot
"Yummy and very easy! Works out great for holiday meals as it's easy to smash the potatoes and be ready right when the main dish is ready."- Tuxmando
Halve or quarter potatoes to make even sizes. Place potatoes in a 4-6 qt. slow cooker. Add garlic, oil, salt, and water and mix to coat. Cover crockpot and cook on high for 3 1/2 - 4 1/2 hours until potatoes are tender.
Mash potatoes roughly with a fork. Stir in cream cheese until blended, then add enough milk for desired consistency. (More salt and pepper may be added as needed.) May be served right away, or cover and hold in slow cooker up to 2 hours on low. Makes fourteen 1/2 cup servings.

thetkdgirl 2 years agoLooks amazing. I think it calls for 3 pounds of potatoes though, not 3 potatoes. Hard to get 14 servings out of 3 potatoes.
ponderrn 3 years agoI have not tried this yet but I am wondering if there is a typo. it calls for 3 small potatoes.

profjonsie 4 years agoI probably would not put as much garlic as I did. I added cheddar cheese when I served to the family. Very good!
