Ready in 5 hours

This is a spicy dish if you use hot salsa. You can adjust spice with the kind of salsa you use.

"I used a can of fiesta cheese soup since the pepper jack has been discontinued and for the salsa I used Lime and Garlic Salsa. Chicken was very moist! Will use this one gain for sure!"

Ingredients

6 Chicken breast halves; boneless, without skin
2 bell; cut into strips
1 can Pepper Jack cheese soup; ***see note below
6 tablespoons chunky salsa
Pepper; to taste
Salt; to taste

Original recipe makes 6

Servings

Preparation

Combine all ingredients. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours, until chicken is tender.

Notes

I used a 8 oz pkg of pepperjack cheese since the soup couldn't be found in my area. I melted it in a double boiler and added milk till I got soup consistancy.
