In a large bowl, combine mayo, sugar, vinegar and salt. Mix until disolved.
Add the peeled and sliced cucumbers into bowl and fold until mixture covers the cucumbers. Chill in refrigerator for at least 1 hour. As the cucumbers sit they will make more liquid.
Best if made the day of the event.

Jesseray77My family loves this! It's very similar to a recipe my grandmother makes. Its nice to have a recipe to follow. I always add onion. Yum!!!5y ago
Love7721@pesto126, without the mayo it's not cucumbers and cream, its a completely different dish. I didn't advertise that this is a healthy dish and your comment is quite rude. Keep your judgement to yourself and lighten up.5y ago
pesto126It looks good ... But .. A cup of mayo!! Fat city for something that could have been healthy with just the vinegar...5y ago
Griller24This is a great twist on traditional cucumber and onions in vinegar! I also added some fresh cracked black pepper and some cut up onions!! Everyone loves them, will definitely be a summer staple!!5y ago
Love7721So crazy, I didn't think anyone would have this recipe. My niece (who is very picky) loves these. We call it hummin' food, because she use to hum when she was little and she was eating something good!!5y ago
tripletmamaThis is a staple at our house too! The kids can't get enough of them! It has been a family favorite for years and I don't think we've had a get-to-gether where these weren't present! The only thing different is we add a bit of fresh cracked black pepper for a little zing!5y ago
Love7721I posted this recipe....5y ago
