3 cups blackberries
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup Sugar
1 egg; beaten
5 tbsp Butter; melted

Original recipe makes 6



1. Pour berries into 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan.

2. Stir flour, sugar and egg mixture, will be crumbley. Sprinkle over berries.

3. Drizzle melted butter over top of cobbler.

4. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.

This is great cobbler.Good with either blackberries or blueberries, or mix both.

Loved this cobbler. Topping was almost like shortbread. I added lemon zest to it. yummy with vanilla ice cream.

This recipe makes a delicious blackberry cobbler. I made it several times over the summer. The crust is delicious! A tip for late in the season berries: add a little sugar and let them sit for an hour or two before making the cobbler.
