Apesgrape 2y ago8 hrs was to long and made is mushy. but other than that it was really good. im making it again tonight and cooking it for less time. i leave the nuts out and my 15 month old loves it! served with an egg it has oodles of the nutrition they need.

Rj55313 4y ago8 hours was TOO long for me. I suggest starting at 6 hours at the longest, and going from there.
sunnyphlower 5y agoDelicious!! I also added a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
jonmadison 6y agoI'd like to add that you'll probably want to grease your crockpot so it won't be stick to the sides so much like my first batch of this yummess. :) also, non-quick oats work as well. I've been using Snoqualmie Ridge (a local brand) oats.
CCheryl 6y agothis is also good using irish steal cut oats, thats my favorite, thats all i changed tho, i only use quick oats for cookies, cant wait to try your next favorite oatmeal recipe, CCheryl
