Ready in 45 minutes
This is a recipe from the back of a chocolate chips bag many years ago. This is a little larger batch recipe, makes about approx 4 dozen cookies.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt in medium bowl; set aside. Beat butter, brown sugar and vanilla in a large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs for about 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
Gradually add in flour stirring constantly. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 7 o 9 minutes or until puffed. Leave on baking sheets for 2 minutes before removing to wire racks.
Leave in a couple minutes longer if you prefer a firmer cookie, until just slightly browned. If you store in an air-tight container with a slice of bread, the cookies will stay fresh and soft for about a week.

smilinsteen 3y agoThese were very good....however, mine didnt look exactly like a "Cookie". They came out of the oven in almost the exact shape I put them in as. Still, none the less....delish.
Berettachic 4y agoThese cookies have an absolutely fantastic chocolate flavor. I made this cookie even better by substituting a bag of cherry chips for the chocolate ones. I have a pic it's not exact to the recipe.
KatLive 4y agoThis is my absolute favorite cookie recipe. I make these every holiday season, without fail. The recipe came from a Nestle's chips bag years ago.
