German Dumplings
Place bread in bowl. Add salt. Beat eggs and add to bread. Mix together. Add butter and mix with bread. Add flour and milk as needed to make dumplings into balls about 3 in. in diameter. Refrigerate for at least an hour to set.
To cook. Bring water to boil. Add salt. Drop in dumplings. When the float they are done.
