Suggest a better description1) Mix together flour, baking powder and salt.
2) Bring just to a simmer in a small saucepan: butter and milk.
3) Add wet ingredients to dry and stir with a fork or knead by hand 2-3 times until the mixture just comes together.
4) Divide the dough into about 16 puffy dumplings.
5) Roll each piece of dough into a rough ball. Gently lay the formed dumplings on the surface of your simmering stew, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve immediately.
