"My daughter loved it. She is 7 yrs old and I have been struggling with her to eat new things. I substituted ground turkey for the ground beef and used chicken bullion instead. I love mushrooms and used fresh sliced mushrooms and just added a little more water. With the bullion however, you should cut the 3/4 tsp salt down to 1/4tsp or eliminate it all together. Maybe say salt for taste. "

Ingredients

2 c noodles or rice; cooked
1 Garlic; minced
3/4 ts Salt
1/4 ts Pepper
1 ts Instant beef bouillon
1 lb Lean ground beef
1 c Water
1/2 c Onion; chopped
3 tb Flour
1 c Sour cream
1 4-oz can mushroom stems

Preparation

From: "mchlsn@pacbell.net" Cook and stir the meat, onion, and garlic in a large skillet until the meat is brown. Drain off the excess fat. Mix in the flour, bouillon, salt, pepper and the can of mushroom stems and pieces. Stir in the water and heat to boiling, reduce the heat and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. Stir in the sour cream and heat until just hot. Way too much sour cream. It needs more meat/substance for the amount of sauce. Maybe some tweaking to make this ok.

Great fast meal!! I use Better Than Boullion for intense flavor.

Nice starter recipie. I switched to fresh mushrooms, and doubled the onions and garlic. Also added a couple dashes of soy sauce. Fresh parsley was a great addition too. Very good, easy, will make again.

Love how quick and easy this is! For a little more flavor I added a chicken bouillon cube to the boiling noodles. I also added some paprika, cumin, and a can of cream of mushroom soup. Yum!

This was easy and I will make it again but it does need some extra flavor, very bland.
