A quick, simple lasagna recipe that can be prepared in less than an hour.
Brown ground beef in large skillet. Drain off fat. Stir in brown sugar and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook noodles by boiling in water with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and a 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil. Drain noodles.
Spread a thin layer of meat sauce (about 1/2 cuo) in a greased 9x13 baking dish. Layer, starting with noodles, then sauce, cheddar, and mozzarella. Make 2 layers of everything.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes, or until hot.
When filling in the lasagna, make sure the bottom of the baking dish is covered with a thin layer of meat sauce. Make sure each layer of noodles is *completely* covered with cheese. Otherwise, the noodles will turn crunchy where left uncovered.
