1. In a medium sized saucepan melt 2 Tablespoons margarine,then add onion and cook until soft.
2 Add chicken broth, and bring to a boil.
3 Then add the lima beans,let broth return to a boil.
4 Reduce heat and cover beans, let simmer for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5 After the beans are done DO NOT drain, add remaining margarine,salt, and pepper to taste.
6 Then serve.
