This is an easy cheap peanut butter cookie recipe. Only 3 ingredients!! Try it you'll love these rich delicious cookies. Try adding a cup of M&Ms or chocolate chips to change it up.

"Just made these cookies today for my 7 yr old (and the rest of my family who ended up devouring them) and they came out great. We used the exact ingredients that this recipe called for and I was able to make 12 cookies. I ended up baking them for a few min longer (i think it's my oven) and they came out great. Peanut butter cookies are always crumbly and always a little dry (from what I have tasted). Drink them with milk and have a plate handy! I definitely recommend this recipe. Will make again in the near future. "

Ingredients

1 cup Peanut Butter
1 Egg
1 cup Sugar

Original recipe makes 12 Servings

Servings

Preparation

Preheat Oven to 350. Grease Cookie Sheet

Mix together all ingredients PB, Egg, and Sugar so that all ingredients are evenly disbursed. Roll mixture into half dollar sized balls. Place balls evenly on cookie sheet. Take a fork and press down on to ball and then press again the opposite way to somewhat flatten the ball. ( to get that nice crisscross pattern on the cookie) Place cookies in the oven and bake approximately 8-12 minutes, depending on thickness of cookie. Let cookies cool down mostly before eating them to avoid breakage. This cookies are rich and hearty and everyone will love them.

They were easy to make, and nice that you only need 3 ingredients. 'IF' I ever make them again, I'll try 1/2 the sugar. They were very very sweet.

My husband loved them. But they were a little too sweet for me. I'll try less sugar next time.

My family absolutely loves these cookies. I have to double the recipe so they don't fight over the cookies. I love the ease of prep.

The cookies were terrific! My oven may run hot though, so I had to adjust the temperature down to 325 and bake for 9 minutes. That seemed to be the perfect combination for me! I also added a tsp of vanilla and some M&Ms. Initially, I added M&Ms to my mixer, but that wasn't a great idea - chops them up. I recommend adding them to the individual cookies as you lay them out on the baking sheet.

I always mix all ingredients first then stir in the m&ms by hand. I'll have to try the vanilla! - wvufan1011 1m ago

Making these today, recipe first was on Jif label. So easy and yummy for the tummy. Hubby requests these more than other cookie. I sprinkle sugar lightly on top right out of the oven.

Glad to know Jif uses this recipe :) - wvufan1011 1m ago

Very simple and delicious. Just made these 30 min ago and they hit the spot. I tweaked it just a bit by adding some chocolate chips, tsp of vanilla and tsp of maple syrup. Yum!! Made 18 cookies
