"Just made these cookies today for my 7 yr old (and the rest of my family who ended up devouring them) and they came out great. We used the exact ingredients that this recipe called for and I was able to make 12 cookies. I ended up baking them for a few min longer (i think it's my oven) and they came out great. Peanut butter cookies are always crumbly and always a little dry (from what I have tasted). Drink them with milk and have a plate handy! I definitely recommend this recipe. Will make again in the near future. "- goodangel03
Preheat Oven to 350. Grease Cookie Sheet
Mix together all ingredients PB, Egg, and Sugar so that all ingredients are evenly disbursed. Roll mixture into half dollar sized balls. Place balls evenly on cookie sheet. Take a fork and press down on to ball and then press again the opposite way to somewhat flatten the ball. ( to get that nice crisscross pattern on the cookie) Place cookies in the oven and bake approximately 8-12 minutes, depending on thickness of cookie. Let cookies cool down mostly before eating them to avoid breakage. This cookies are rich and hearty and everyone will love them.
shanikahoward7 3 days 20 hours agoGood simple recipe. I followed everyone's instructions and used less sugar however I wish I would have added some vanilla extract like others suggested.
abbiesxo 3 weeks agoI had to put 6 tea spoons of plain flour into the mixture as it would not all come together. But it is very very easy to make an a nice recipe to work with. Finished result - (taste): horrible. I don't know it was because the recipe was wrong or it was because I put flour in in to make it come together. But it is a recipe I won't be making again.

ees55 2 months agoThese tasted okay, but did come out a bit oily and had a slightly gritty texture. I added a dash of cinnamon and a splash of vanilla for some more flavor and reduced the sugar to 3/4 cup (half brown half white) based on other reviews. The cookies still came out a bit too sweet for my taste. I can see where the brand of peanut butter used might make a difference. Peanut butter cookies with flour are definitely better tasting and have a better texture as well.
