Try this Elvis Presley Pound Cake recipe, or contribute your own.
Butter and flour a 10" tube pan. Thoroughly cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in half the flour, then the whipping cream , then the other half of the flour. Add vanilla. Pour batter into prepared pan. Set in COLD oven and turn heat to 350~. Bake 60-70 minutes, until a sharp knife inserted in cake comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 minutes. Remove from pan and cool thoroughly.

autoshowcsae 5y agoAs a self appointed Pound Cake connoisseur I have made about every kind/style there is. This one intrigued me from the standpoint of who it was created for and loved by. A most unusual recipe but definately the very best I have ever tasted!! It is moist and rich and an absolute crowd pleaser. I have made it over and again and have requests for more.
