4 cups white bread flour

2 Tablespoons sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

2 Tablespoons powdered buttermilk

Follow the above directions for a 2 pound loaf.

We have opted to make a change to this recipe. In place of grated cheese, we use 1 pound of cheese cubed (approx. 1" cubes) and work into the bread by hand after the machine has completed the knead cycle. Knead into the bread by hand.

Place the bread dough in an oiled bowl, cover and let rise until double. Punch down and form into 1 or 2 artisan style loaves. Place on a baking sheet that has been sprinkled with cornmeal. Let rise again. Bake ~~at; 350F.

Very nice, didn't have powdered buttermilk so had to add more flour. Personally I'd add more cheese.
