"I made this soup yesterday and loved it! I had to add salt and pepper, to taste, and then added a few dashes of hot sauce, to bring out the flavor. My husband really liked it, too. I'm hoping it freezes well, since this recipe makes so much."- Marilyn159
1Combine potatoes, onion, broth, and cream of chicken soup in crock pot.
2Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours or until potatoes are tender.
3Add cream cheese and blend.
4Top with bacon and chives before serving.

Czwhiz 3 months agoIt was ok. I prefer other recipes that don't use the cream of chicken soup, though.
skot0123 1 year agoI used chicken stock instead of water and I added smoke sausage. Everyone liked it but next time I will only blend a portion and will mash the rest. The texture was too creamy blended.

platinumdiva 1 year agoPretty good, I added red pepper flakes and seasoned salt. Pretty good soup for a minimal amount of work. Also topped with cheddar cheese.

BrenzGamez 2 years agoWe really enjoyed this soup. The first time I made it I blended like suggested but my husband thought it was too creamy so the second time I used a potato masher to break down the big chunks. It turned out great!
