This is a great pizza crust recipe that is so easy to make and is quick because you don't have to let the dough rise.

"This is a easy and great tasting dough, by the second pizza I had the bake time figured out just they way we like it. Thank you for posting, my pizza loving 5 year olds loved it. "

1 .25 oz envelope Active Dry Yeast; (or 2 1/2 tsp)
1 cup Warm Water
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Sugar
1/4 tsp Salt
2 1/2 cups Unbleached All-Purpose Flour; (can substitute bleached if you prefer)
1 handful Cornmeal; (for dusting, this is optional)

Original recipe makes 6 Servings Servings

You've adjusted the recipe from 6 Servings (as originally posted) to 6 Servings. The ingredients above reflect 6 Servings, but the instructions reflect the as-posted 6 Servings. You may need to adjust the times, temperatures or quantities mentioned in the recipe below as needed.

Preheat oven to 425* F. In your mixer, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add the olive oil, sugar, salt and 1 1/2 cups flour. Mix with flour hook until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to make a firm dough. Turn onto floured surface, cover and let rest for 10 minutes.

Spray a 12-inch or larger pizza pan with non-stick cooking spray and dust with cornmeal. Roll dough out to desired size and place on pan. Do not let it rise. Place in oven and bake for 10-14 minutes, until lightly browned. Add your toppings and bake for 10-15 minutes longer.

This crust freezes really well. Simply do the first bake, then let it cool, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap, and toss it in the freezer. When you're ready to use it, simply take it out of the freezer, unwrap it, top it and do the second bake cycle until the crust is lightly browned. You could even top it after you let it cool, and then freeze it with it's toppings making your own ready to go frozen pizza.

Pesto sauce and bacon on half.

We made 2 pizza's this night. A regular Pepporoni and Olive one, and then a Buffalo Chicken one with Ranch Dressing for the sauce instead of Tomato Pizza Sauce. They were great!

Here is a better picture of the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. This is my personal favorite, it's just the right ammount of spice and the ranch dressing for sauce makes it's really good.
