6 oz Tomato sauce
2 lg Red bell peppers; chopped
1/2 c Dry Red Wine
2 Onions; chopped
1 ts Garlic; minced
1/4 ts Cumin
1 ts Salt
1 1/2 lb Ground beef
1/4 ts Dried Oregano

I listened to the other comments and added more kick. I made the creole spice recipe one suggested and added a couple tablespoons. The onions and spicing gave it a great flavor without overwhelming heat. It would have been very blah without the additional flavor. We both like it very much and I will certainly make it again.

This is a good recipe but a little lacking in flavor. I added some Tony Chachera's creole seasoning and served it with pickled jalapenos to kick it a bit and it seemed to do the trick. Over all a nice starter, keep them coming!
