Chili Dish
Crumble sausage into a 5 quart dutch oven set over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, onions, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook, stirring often to break up meat, until beef is cooked. Add chili powder, oregano, cumin, and bay leaf. Cook 1 minute, stirring often. Stir in tomatoes, beef broth, salt, and hot pepper. Bring to a simmer, breaking up tomatoes in pot with a spoon. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring often, until chili is thickened, about 45 minutes.
Stir in cannelini beans and cook until beans are heated though, about 5 minutes. Serve immediately with garnish.
