Ready in 45 minutes
Very tasty version of the old classic standby.
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
In large bowl, mix ground beef, onion (make sure it is chopped in small pieces) 1 egg, milk, 3 tsp. worcestershire sauce 1/3 can of tomato soup. Once blended together, add bread crumbs until mixture is sticky and firm. Form into loaf shape in shallow baking dish and cover with foil.
Into the soup can add 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce, about a 1/2 teaspoon of yellow mustard, about a teaspoon and a half of brown sugar and mix together well, set aside.
Place meatloaf in oven for 1 hour 20 min.
Uncover after above time cook for 20 minutes more.
Spoon soup mixture on top of meatloaf completely covering top and sides of the loaf. Continue to cook for 15 minutes.
Remove and serve.
Tia1985 1y agoI also use a bit less onion and I put sauce on at the very beginning and at the very end for the extra time. This makes it even juicier and very flavourful.
Brookemelissa 1y agoI love this recipe!!! Nobody has just 1 serving so you should always double it. It is the only meatloaf I'm allowed to make anymore.
Teamal 2y agoThis was really yummy and I'll definitely make it again. I used ground turkey instead of ground beef and added some garlic. It was great and sadly we don't have very much of it left for leftovers!
moonbeams02 2y agoGood and easy to make
PatyandJoey 2y agoLoved it! Added a little bit more of Worchestire sauce & Ketchup to both the meat & sauce, came out juicy!

phishnsgr8 3y agoVery delicious and easy to make even for the amateur cook. My wife was craving it all week long after we made it last Sunday so we are back at it again tonight. Advice is to cut out the middle 20 minute cooking step and just go with the 1h20 and the another 30 after you apply to sauce.
DestinySpires 3y agoThis was my first time making meatloaf. It was great. Even my picky man liked it. I only added half on the onion and he said that I should have used a whole onion.
