Fig Preserves

Ready in 20 minutes

Great in July and August when fresh figs available at Farmers Markets.


8 Figs
1/2 cup Sugar
3 tablespoon Honey
1 tablespoon Lemon; juice

Original recipe makes 8



Remove ends of figs. Put in small saucepan with remaining ingredients. Bring to a low boil and simmer for 15 minutes or until fruit has broken down. Puree if desired. Perfect for use with Granola Bar with Fruit Filling recipe.
