1/4 ts Salt
2 c White flour
1 1/2 ts Baking Powder
3/4 c Water
4 tb Lard; or shortening

Original recipe makes 2



Mix all ingredients into a dry dough. Knead on lightly floured board about 5 minutes. Wrap dough for about 1/2 hour. Form the dough into two balls. Roll balls into flat disks. Cook on a lightly greased griddle, browning each side. These are excellent bread for any Mexican meal or as wrappers for burritos. From the , Fort Bliss Officers Wives Club, Ft. Bliss, TX.
