French Toast, Breakfast
"I find it completely odd, if you go to any local restaurant in Erie PA, their version of 'french toast' is simply to a very light coating of egg only bread and fry it. It drives me up the wall. I rather have scrabbled eggs on toast, please."- MetricCook

timgraham1 7 months agoThe brown sugar makes this recipe. Awesome french toast recipe, highly recommend the powdered sugar.
cmorris25 8 months agoThis recipe is really good.. The nutmeg was a little over powering, next time I will use less, other than that, this is a really good recipe.

LavenderWand 1 year agoThis is my favorite french toast recipe ....minus nutmeg with a little extra brown sugar. Made both regular-sliced white bread and raisin bread. Enjoyed by everyone.
