Suggest a better descriptionBlanch tomato in boiling water for 30 seconds. Place in cold water for 1 minute, then peel skin. Place a sieve over a bowl; cut tomato open over sieve. Remove seeds by squeezing tomato over sieve or scooping seeds out with spoon. In food processor or blender, place tomato and juice from bowl; blend until smooth. The juice will be slightly warm and a lighter color than the canned variety. Taste juice and add salt, pepper, sugar or lemon slice, if desired. Serve immediately or chill thoroughly. Makes 1 serving. Typed in MMFormat by cjhartlin.msn@attcanada.net Source: Canadian Living Posted to MM-Recipes Digest V4 #13 by cjhartlin@email.msn.com on Apr 12, 1999
