Sliced apples cooked in a little butter, brown sugar and scraped vanilla beans for the ultimate flavor.
Place sliced apples in skillet. Drop butter on top and mix in brown sugar. Stir and cook over med low heat (depending on your stove) until they look tender. Meanwhile slice vanilla beans down the middle to separate, then take a small knife and scrape the black part (that is the seed of the bean) and place in skillet with apples and stir until apples are very tender. Depending on the texture that you like. I cooked the apples in a cast iron skillet.
