A casserole handed down from my father. Super easy and enjoyable by all ages!

"Oh, so good! One of my kids had 5 helpings of this. I did not bother to do all the layering - I mixed the meat with the chili and the corn and then just did a layer of Fritos, layer of meat mixture, layer of cheese and then repeated that. It was quick to make and all the ingredients were easy to find, except for the Fritos it's all stuff I would normally have on hand."

Are you making this?
1 bag Frito style chips; (small regular sized)
1 can corn; (2 cups)
1 16-oz can chili no beans
1 pound ground beef
3 cups cheese; (chedder, colby, etc.) shredded
1 medium onion; diced
1 package taco seasoning

Original recipe makes 6 Servings

Cook beef in skillet after browned add onion and season packet.

In 2 qt. round baking dish you will layer the ingredients two times, in this order: Fritos, corn, chili, seasoned meat and then the cheese, Repeat.

Cover and bake at 350 for about 25-30 min.

It's also a good recipe to do a few nights after taco night! If you have left over refried beans, mix it into the chili! Super good!

Pretty good. I'll make it again but it won't be added to my weekly list. Maybe once a month.

It was ok, but it seems to be lacking on taste. I'll try making it again, but tweak it to my liking. Love the idea of using sour cream, salsa & the chili Frito's instead of the regular.

It is AMAZING!!! super tasty :).. I wanted to spruce it up a little so I added jalapenos and instead of regular Fritos I used the chili cheese Fritos.. It came out super yummy!!

Very good & simple recipe. I also added garlic clove, cumin, green pepper & onion. I used a deep 2quart dish. Cooked 50 minutes. Added more cheese than recommended. Would NOT recommend reheating this recipe. Fritos will be soggy.
