freeze apple pie filling now and then serve warm apple treat in winter
pour apple mixture in to plastic warp in pie pan. press firmly and form a rounded top. bring edges of plastic wrap together to seal. freeze overnight. take out of pie plate and put in freezer bag. to bake preheat oven to 350. unwrap pie filling set in to pastry lined pie plate( do not let thaw!). dot with butter, place top crust over filling. cut vent slits in top. seal and flute crust. bake for 75-90 min. or until the filling bubbles through the slits.
