A simple twist on the classic baked potato. Requires an apple corer, not a corer-slicer.
Scrub potato. With an apple corer (not corer-slicer), core through the potato. Remove core and slice 1/2" from each end. Discard center and retain ends.
Crush or mince garlic and place in the center of the potato. Place butter around garlic and replace the reserved ends of the core.
Dampen the skin of the potato and sprinkle with sea salt. Wrap in aluminum foil and bake at 425°F for 1 hour. Serve with additional butter or sour cream, as desired.
