Better than restaurant General Tso's chicken in wonderful sauce
Mix all ingredients listed from Sauce Part 1 in Quart container with lid. Shake well and put in fridge for later.
Heat oil in pan or fryer to 350.
Mix all ingredients from Chicken -Dredge Mixture together in bowl except chicken and mix well. Will be thick.
Dredge pieces of chicken in mixture and place in oil and cook until done and golden brown. Cook about 5-7 pieces at a time and place on paper towels.
Heat saute pan on medium high and add all ingredients from Sauce Part 2. Saute in pan for 2-3 minutes. Add Sauce Part 1 mixture into pan. Cook on medium high heat 7-10 minutes until sauce starts to thicken. Once sauce has thickened add chicken chunks and reduce heat and simmer on low for 10 minutes or until sauce is at desired consistency. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 min.
Serve with fried rice.
