1 Grease 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Place breadin prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Combine evaporated milk, eggs,dry mustard, onion powder, diced onion and salt/pepper in medium bowl. Pourevenly over bread and cheese. Sprinkle with sausage. Cover; refrigerateovernight.
2 Preheat oven to 325° F.
3 Bake for 55 to 60 minutes oruntil cheese is golden brown. Cover with foil if top browns too quickly.

Jojoshoes 4 years agoI made this for some house guests for a mimosa brunch. I halved the recipe, omitting the onion and substituting onion powder and some minced garlic instead. The guests raved, so I will definitely make it again!
akwilson4 4 years agoNot bad but it had WAY too many onions. Having that many onions also added a lot of moisture to the casserole. I did add bacon bits and a few shots of hot sauce. It was a nice addition.
