Easy and tasty.
Heat oven to 400. Cook carrots in boiling water until tender, then drain. Fry bacon until crisp and remove from pan. Saute onion in bacon drippings until tender. Crumble bacon and add to 2-qt. buttered baking dish. Add carrots and onions and mix together. Salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with brown sugar and pour melted butter over top. Bake uncovered, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes.
