Try this Ginger Bread's Cinnamon Bread recipe, or contribute your own.
Mix yeast with 1 1/4 cups warm water in mixing bowl. Set aside to proof.
Soak raisins in 1 cup of warm water.
Add to Yeast: 1/4 cup honey, 2 tablespoons butter, 1/4 cup non-fat dry milk, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt. Slowly add 3 cups flour. Once dough is pulling away from bowl allow to knead for 4-5 more minutes. Allow dough to double in size about one to one and one half hours.
Once dough has doubled in size, punch down and divide into two
Roll one section to about 9 x 11 rectangle
Drain raisins and add to 1/4 cup melted butter along with cinnamon - Spread this mixture on dough evenly
Roll dough tightly and place in a greased 5 x9 in bread pan
Repeat for second dough ball
Bake at 350 ? for 35 to 40 minutes or until instant read thermometer reads 200?

Jabre 1y agoEasy to follow recipe and yummy result, thank you! I will roll it tighter next time though as it did not look as good as yours. How do you prevent the bread for become to dark on top when baking? Are you using aluminum foil or something equivalent?
