Suggest a better description1. HEAT oven to 375F.
2. CREAM butter and sugar in a large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Beat in egg. Add Molasses.
3. COMBINE flour, baking Soda, cinnamon, ginger and cloves. Mix into butter mixture until just blended.
4. DROP by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls 3 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.
5. BAKE for 9 minutes. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet on a cooling rack. Remove cookies to rack to cool completely.
These cookies will be very soft to the touch. They harden somewhat when they cool. Do Not Overbake or the cookies will be hard.
CREAM butter and sugar; add egg; mix. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Make into balls the size of walnuts and roll in granulated sugar.
