Drizzled with balsamic reduction, this makes an incredibly elegant hors d'oevre or appetizer. Make sure the dried figs you use are somewhat soft and plump.
1. Simmer the balsamic vinegar in a saucepan over medium high heat until reduced by half. Put in a plastic squeeze bottle. (If you don't have one, you can try drizzling it with a spoon).
2. Cut a hole in the top of the figs and stuff each with about 1/4 oz of cheese.
3. Arrange the figs and drizzle with the balsamic reduction.
