Top-ranked recipe named "Gourmet Burgundy Burgers"
One of my favorite burgers ever! The burgundy gives the beef a robust flavor, complimenting imported cheeses very nicely.
"Tried this burger per a friend's recommendation (Rwfaison). Tender, very well seasoned as commented on before. I minced the onion and garlic together in the food processor, and only added about 1/2 the amount of bread crumbs called for. Will make these again and again!"- susanjameslowe
Mix all the ingredients together. Shape mixture into 6 patties, each about 3/4-inch thick. (The mixture will be saucy, add breadcrumbs to firm it up if you like. Broil or grill the patties 4-inches from the heat, turning once, to the desired doneness, about 10 to 15 minutes. Melt 1 slice of each cheese over patties on grill before serving.

Corwin26 1 year agoOnce upon a time I ate a burger that had wine in it at a restaurant in Boston & this burger comes very near to that delectable sandwich, I couldn't find the havarti so used all gouda, Saturday's dinner was off the charts thanks to these!
